MO.can OBD HD

The mo.can OBD is a digital adapter for the trouble-free connection of our instruments directly to the diagnostic interface of a Harley-Davidson ™ from 2004. Plug & Drive couldn't be simpler. A small box eliminates the need to install speed or rpm sensors.

Every Harley Davidson™ from model year 2004* has this interface as a 3-pin plug on the vehicle. Using the mo.can OBD digital adapter, which is simply plugged into this connector, motogadget instruments can read speed, engine rpm and MIL (engine warning light) directly from the bus. vehicle data.

Supply via the OBD interface is also possible. This means, for example, that a "mini motoscope" can be used without further connection work on the motorcycle. The instrument is simply connected to the OBD mo.can. All compatibility issues between instruments and original speed sensors, especially with HD models from 2007, are resolved.

The signal for the MIL (malfunction indicator) for engine and peripheral error messages is also read and can be displayed when an LED / warning lamp is connected. This completely removes the original instruments**.

The mo.can OBD only consists of a tiny fully encapsulated box, a 4-pin OBD connector and a long enough connection cable. It is resistant to vibrations and the effects of weathering. Its operation is guaranteed down to an on-board voltage of less than 5V and thus corresponds to all SAE specifications for motorcycles.

* It is NOT possible to use HD Softtail from model year 2011, Dyna from model year 2012, XL from model year 2014, as well as all other models with HD- LAN. Only for SAE J1850 bus system.

**With some models such as the V-ROD, removal of the stock speedometer may cause issues with the ECU/immobilizer. Please ask your trusted dealer about this or test it before a conversion, for example by disconnecting the original speedometer. The immobilizer may need to be disabled.
