Details

The motogadget motoscope classic is a versatile digital instrument with a classic round case. A white dial and red indicator driven by a precision stepper motor make up the analog tachometer. The LCD display and four LED indicators display the many features accurately and reliably.

The design goes well with all types of mod or original machines - whether it's a real classic, youngtimer, custom or sports bike. The motoscope classic is suitable for both sports cars and kit cars.

Premium materials, hand assembly, and our scrupulous quality control deliver the highest possible quality in function and appearance.

Envelope

The high quality aluminum housing is turned and machined from the block with CNC technology. The surface is first brushed and then anodized in black or natural aluminium. The case is 100% waterproof. The viewing glass is made of special anti-scratch plastic. The widely used dimensions of 80mm make it easy to replace the original instruments.

Analog dial with indicator and LCD display

The readability of the engine speed is optimal thanks to the red indicator on the white dial. The innovative, fully illuminated background surface is utilized to the maximum.

Accurate, vibration-free tachometer display by the stepper motor-driven indicator is achieved by a fully adjustable gear ratio and damped indicator.

The LCD screen remains readable and illuminated even in direct sunlight. Four ultra-bright LED lights complete the instrument. The red LED acts as an indicator light when the set threshold for RPM, temperatures (min/max), pressure readings (min/max), vehicle voltage and oil pressure switch or connected similar transmission devices are achieved. Different warnings are easily distinguished by different flashing patterns or continuous illumination.

Operation

The LCD screen display pages are switched via the menu and turn signal pushbuttons. The first line always indicates the speed. Additional measurements can be displayed if required by pressing a button. The default settings or the saved values will of course be kept in memory even in the event of a power cut.

Assembly

Widely used mounting diameter provides adaptability to many vehicle platforms. We provide optional mounting hardware. Refer to “Editing”.

Sensors and connection:

The connection cable is approx. 55 cm long and the connectors are already pre-installed on the instrument side. Matching counterparts for the side of the vehicle are included.

The engine speed measurement input easily connects to the ignition coil or ignition box. The included stainless steel speedometer sensor is small (M5/22mm) and connects effortlessly to the front or rear wheel via the 1.5m connection cable.

We supply suitable sensors for optimum measurement of air, oil and water temperature as well as oil pressure (see "Accessories").

Versions

A technically identical instrument with a black dial (see “Chronoclassic”) or configured as an analogue speedometer (see CLASSIC analogue speedometer series) is also available.
