mst vintage (Small vintage style analog speedometer)
details
The mst vintage is a small analog speedometer with a brass ring in an attractive old-school look
Technically identical to the tiny motoscope, the design varies. The clock face is based on the streamline design of the forties and fifties. Additionally, a yellowed and cracked surface gives the dial a very aged appearance.
The screw ring and pointer are solid brass and handcrafted with a patina. The resulting patterns and signs of aging are different for each instrument and give it an individual and unique appearance.
There is a matching aerodynamic cut in solid brass with patina especially for the mst Vintage. See assembly.
All other properties and technical data of the instrument correspond to the tiny motoscope.
to display
The analog dial in black and white contrast is indirectly illuminated by white LEDs. An innovative LED display is hidden behind the black part of the dial, which only lights up when the dial is in use and is not visible when switched off.
In order to achieve optimal readability in darkness, sunshine and twilight, the brightness of the LEDs is automatically adjusted.
If the 200 km / h on the analog scale is exceeded, the speed is automatically displayed on the LED display. The maximum speed is also recorded.
The 4 indicator lights (blue, red, 2 x green) are also integrated into the dial. These also only become visible during operation.
operation
You can use the supplied menu button or, for example, the light button on the handlebar to switch between displays on the LED display.
The standard indication on the display is the time. If necessary, values for total mileage, daily mileage, on-board voltage, etc. are displayed by briefly pressing a button.
All functions, such as daily mileage reset or similar, are easy to operate with the button. Presets or saved values are of course also saved without power.

Connection and sensors
The detailed installation and operating instructions (see under Downloads) allow the instrument to be connected even to users who have already moved away from the vehicle's electrical system.
The included stainless steel speedometer sensor is very small (M5/23mm) and easy to hide. With the 1.5m long connection cable, it can be easily attached to the front or rear wheel. This means that vehicles with original mechanical transmissions can also be easily converted.
The motoscope tiny is compatible with many original speedometer sensors (reed contact and proximity sensors) from the vehicle manufacturer. In this case, only the connections are connected and the mechanical installation of a sensor is completely unnecessary.
A smart "learn function" makes it easy to calibrate the speedometer, even in vehicles with sensors on the transmission, such as Harley-Davidson (TM).
