mst speedster (Small analog speedometer in retro style)
details
The mst speedster is a small analog speedometer with an attractive retro design.
Technically, the instrument is identical to the tiny motoscope.
The dial is based on the clean design of the 40s and 50s. To match, it is kept in a warmer white. The shape of the pointer is matched to the dial and in brushed stainless steel and the screw ring is also available polished or black anodized.
All other properties and technical data of the instrument correspond to the tiny motoscope.
housing
The high quality aluminum case is turned from solid and its surface is black anodized. The screw ring is also available in black anodized or high-gloss polished.
The housing is 100% waterproof and insensitive to vibrations.
to display
The analog dial in black and white contrast is indirectly illuminated by white LEDs. An innovative LED display is hidden behind the black part of the dial, which only lights up when the dial is in use and is not visible when switched off.
In order to achieve optimal readability in darkness, sunshine and twilight, the brightness of the LEDs is automatically adjusted.
If the 200 km / h on the analog scale is exceeded, the speed is automatically displayed on the LED display. The maximum speed is also recorded.
The 4 indicator lights (blue, red, 2 x green) are also integrated into the dial. These also only become visible during operation.
operation
You can use the supplied menu button or, for example, the light button on the handlebar to switch between displays on the LED display.
The standard indication on the display is the time. If necessary, values for total mileage, daily mileage, on-board voltage, etc. are displayed by briefly pressing a button.
All functions, such as daily mileage reset or similar, are easy to operate with the button. Presets or saved values are of course also saved without power.

Connection and sensors
The detailed installation and operating instructions (see under Downloads) allow the instrument to be connected even to users who have already moved away from the vehicle's electrical system.
The included stainless steel speedometer sensor is very small (M5/23mm) and easy to hide. With the 1.5m long connection cable, it can be easily attached to the front or rear wheel. This means that vehicles with original mechanical transmissions can also be easily converted.
The motoscope tiny is compatible with many original speedometer sensors (reed contact and proximity sensors) from the vehicle manufacturer. In this case, only the connections are connected and the mechanical installation of a sensor is completely unnecessary.
A smart "learn function" makes it easy to calibrate the speedometer, even in vehicles with sensors on the transmission, such as Harley-Davidson (TM).
